The 2nd Annual Summer Fest was a great event — over $6,500.00 was raised for Epiphany’s mission work. This is $1,700.00 more than last year! The street was full of laughter and enjoyment because of everyone’s hard work! Special thanks to very hard-working Co-Chairs, Misty Olson and Corey Fish. Endless thanks to the many volunteers who gave their time and services to ensure this Fest was a success. With God (and good people) all things are possible! |

We will be collecting coats and winter gear for kids 18 and younger (hats/scarves/gloves) over the summer for our Romanian crew to take with them on the plane when they head over late summer/early fall. We are asking people to keep this in mind as put their winter gear away for the summer. I will be putting out bins in the narthex or the gear. People can just bring their stuff to the church and deposit them in the bins. |

Since last fall, Epiphany UCC has had the privilege of being a “teaching church” in partnership with Chicago Theological Seminary, with Mike Underhill serving as our Pastoral Intern, effectively our “pastor-in-training”. May 20th will be Mike’s last Sunday in this role, having fulfilled the seminary requirement in this area. Mike and Vince Benabese are members here and will remain active in the congregation while Mike completes his final year of seminary. Join us on May 20th for a special worship service and reception as Mike makes this transition. |
