We will be cleaning the church on Saturday August 19th and need plenty of help. Closets and storage areas need to be cleaned out along with he Bell Tower and the Nursery need to be cleaned and toys washed and broken ones thrown out. If you have items stored at the church please label them or take them home as they may be thrown out by mistake. Please come and help us prepare for a new church year.
Everyone will need to bring cleaning supplies.

- Glue arm on chair in Matt’s office
- Check with Noel Fowler re altar area? Polishing of wood?
- Wipe off all shelves, window sills, etc. – any place that looks dusty
- Office – Wet wipe off tops of tall metal cabinets
- Wash inside Windows?
- Narthex, stairs & Sanctuary – Polish tables and doors
- You can use Murphy’s oil soap to wash them and paste wax to polish them
- Office and everywhere – clean doors around door handles
- Ask Joe re organ area
- Organize under stairs inside green courtyard door
- Stick on non-slip squares on Damen/pantry side wood stair treads
- Anything left from the street fair needs to be cleaned out
I haven't included the kitchen at all, that probably needs work after renovation is totally done. I've not included the fellowship hall for the same reason. FYI – New carpeting going in next Tuesday in narthex and sanctuary Glen Meier cleans the sanctuary every Friday incl. the floors Floors and carpets will be professionally cleaned/waxed the week of Aug. 21st |
