It’s that time of year again!  Epiphany’s 7^th Annual SummerFest will be on Saturday, June 16^th from noon to 8:00pm. SummerFest is a wonderful day with family, friends and the community! The block party will be feature games & activities for all, crafts, live music, theater, contests, kid’s inflatables, burgers, brats & beer, an ice cream stand and more. Volunteers will be needed to help with set up, clean up, ticket sales and food and beverage. Please contact Corey Fish, Misty Olson or Marnie Schwartz with any questions.

Pastor Kevin has received some suggestions from the congregation regarding topics for him to preach on this summer…and he is still looking for more. After each sermon, there will be a time to “talk back” to the Pastor about his sermon. So far, this is how Pastor Kevin’s preaching schedule will be:

Wisdom Flame, an organization dedicated to helping families deal with the issues around family caregiving of their elderly loved ones, will be presenting at two part workshop after church on TODAY and June 3. In addition to giving practical advice for the caregiving journey, the workshop is also designed to help families:

• Build Bridges- “We help build a common understanding between family members which helps clear through the sadness, frustration, resentment, and potential anger.”

• Live Legacies- “We champion elders as sources of wisdom. We help them live lasting legacies.”

Epiphany United Church of Christ is seeking a caring and motivated individual who has a love for children to fill a part-time position in our church nursery. Candidates for this position should have previous childcare experience and ability to engage infants to 4 year old children and lead a craft.

Applicants must be willing to submit to federal and state background checks. Applicants must be reliable and available to work from the hours of 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM each Sunday and other times as available. Compensation will be a competitive hourly rate of not less than $14.00 per hour, subject to appropriate tax withholdings.
