CHILDREN’S SPIRITUAL FORMATIONA Kids and Communion Workshop is being planned for Sunday, April 22 after worship. In this workshop, Pastor Kevin will share different approaches on how to explain communion to children, the decision parents must make about when they wish to have children participate in the sacrament (we truly do have an open communion, thus we have no rules on when children are allowed to participate at the Table). This one-hour, fifteen minute workshop will also include a chance for the children to have a “hands-on†experience with communion elements, while also giving parents a private time to discuss the issue amongst themselves. Please RSVP to Pastor Kevin if you are interested in attending. The children will be learning about the Last Supper during Sunday School today. The Children’s Storytime in our worship service will be tied into today’s Sunday School focus. Wednesday night eventsFor those that don't know it, we filled out an application for food baskets from the CTA early this year. One day he heard back; we were to get 10 baskets of food, they recommended we come with a cart and a copy of this email saying our organization won. We get there, and they arrive on the back of the santa train, they stacked 9 boxes for each of the 10 organizations they had there that day See photo. The 10th was handed out when the head of the organization took a picture with the President and Chairman of the CTA. While we never knew about this before, CTA employees have been raising money for this annual event for some time. |
